Practitioner
     Must have earned a doctoral degree from a department of psychology, be licensed psychologist in the State of Alabama and provides direct psychological services as part of his/her practice in psychology.
Practitioner - Sustaining
    

Sustaining member chooses to contribute an additional amount to aPA as part of their membership dues.
Practitioner - 1st Year
    

A membership category established for new members.  New members are those who have never belonged to aPA before.  First Year - $75.00; Second Year - $150.00. Third year and each subsequent year the normal dues for Practitioner will apply.
Practitioner - 2nd Year
    

A membership category established for new members.  New members are those who have never belonged to aPA.  Second year dues are discounted to $150.00.  After paying this discount, membership dues continue at $225.00 per year.
Non-Practitioner
     Must have earned a doctoral degree from a department of psychology, be licensed psychologist in the State of Alabama, and does not provide direct psychological services as part of practice in psychology.
Non-Practitioner - Sustaining
     A sustaining member chooses to contribute an additional amount of aPA as part of their membership dues.
Associate
     An Associate member has a Master's Degree from a department of psychology, has worked in psychology as a profession for at least one year and must be working full-time in the profession of psychology or in graduate school or has completed two years of graduate work toward a doctoral degree in psychology and bve a full-time graduate student in a field that is primarily psychological.
Affiliate
     An Affiliate member is enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student majoring in psychology or is interested in promoting the profession of psychology in Alabama and has been recommended by the Executive Council of aPA.
