aPA Membership Dues Structure

Affiliate/Student - $10:

Is enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student majoring in psychology or is interested in promoting the profession of psychology in Alabama and has been recommended by the Executive Council of aPA

Associate- $75:

Has a Master's degree from a department of psychology, has worked in psychology as a profession for at least a year and must be working full-time in the profession of psychology or be in graduate school; or has completed two years of graduate work toward doctoral degree in psychology, and must be a full-time graduate student in a field that is primarily psychological

Non-Practitioner-$75:

Must have earned a doctoral degree from a department of psychology, and be licensed as a psychologist in the State of Alabama; does not provide direct psychological services as part of practice in psychology.

Practitioner - $250:

Must have earned a doctoral degree from a department of psychology, be licensed as a psychologist in the State of Alabama, and provide direct psychological services as part of his/her practice in psychology.

Practitioner/New Member (1st Yr - $75/Complimentary Option Available, 2nd Yr - $150): Currently New Members have the option to choose a Complimentary Membership for the 1st Year.

Category established for newly licensed psychologists, and for psychologists who have never, ever belonged to the Association.  Year 1 = $75; Year 2 = $150; Year 3 = regular dues of $225.  aPA is currently offering the first year membership free for newly licensed psychologists.
