Join us aPA Membership Dues Structure Affiliate/Student - $10: Is enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student majoring in psychology or a trainee of psychology (e.g. psychology intern or postdoctoral fellow) or is interested in promoting the profession of psychology in Alabama and has been recommended by the Executive Council of aPA Associate/Out of State Provider- $95: Individuals interested in psychology who do not meet Full Membership criteria (e.g., out-of-state psychologists, holds a Master’s degree in psychology, psychological assistants, psychometrists, licensed behavior analysts). Associates of aPA may serve on any committee except the Ethics Committee, but shall not have voting or office-holding privileges. Academic/Educator/Research Scientist-$95: Holds a doctoral degree in psychology and is involved in teaching, research, and/or other contexts where they are promoting the profession of psychology. Does not provide direct psychological services as part of practice in psychology (other than supervision of students/trainees). Full members of aPA, with full voting and office-holding privileges in the Association. Clinical Health Service Provider - $250: Must have earned a doctoral degree from a department of psychology, be licensed as a psychologist in the State of Alabama, and provide direct psychological services as part of practice in psychology. Full members of aPA, with full voting and office-holding privileges in the Association. Clinical Health Service Provider/New Member (1st Yr - $75/Complimentary Option Available, 2nd Yr - $150): Currently New Members have the option to choose a Complimentary Membership for the 1st Year. Category established for newly licensed psychologists, or for psychologists who are new to aPA. Full members of aPA, with full voting and office-holding privileges in the Association. Life Member - $95 Category for individuals who previously met criteria for Clinical Health Service Provider or Academic/Educator/Research Scientist but no longer engage in full-time practice or full-time employment. Associates of aPA may serve on any committee, but shall not have voting or office-holding privileges. |
