Continuing Education Info

Workshops will begin on Friday morning and continue through noon on Sunday.   Full attendance is required for each workshop to receive CE Credit Hours.  Those arriving more than 15 minutes late, leaving more than 15 minutes early or missing in excess of 15 minutes will not receive CE's, partial credit cannot be awarded.  All workshops are intended for psychologists, other mental health  professionals and graduate students in mental health disciplines.  

Handouts:  All handouts will be provided electronically.  If aPA receives the handouts in advance, they will be e-mailed prior to Convention so that you can print them out if desired.  No paper copies will be available at the Convention.

ATTENDANCE:  Please ensure that you sign in for each workshop.  This is part of the attendance verification process to award CE's.  Your attendance must be verified for aPA to be able to award CE's.

Evaluation Forms:  A Link or QR Code will be made available for participants to complete an Evaluation Form at the end of each Workshop.  It is required to complete an evaluation form to receive your CE Certificate

CE Certificates:  At the close of the convention, aPA will verify your attendance and receipt of an evaluation form for each workshop that you attended.  Once that verification is complete, aPA will issue your CE Certificates electronically.  Please allow 7-10 business days to receive your CE's.

The Alabama Psychological Association is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.    The Alabama Psychological Association maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
