The Psychology Licensing bill  will not be voted on in this legislative session.  Because the legislative session is winding down, mediations with "stakeholders" will continue into the summer.  Our plan is to work out conflicts with the stakeholders, and return next year with a bill that protects the profession of psychology, does not decrease scope of practice for Alabama licensees, but updates the current law as we originally intended.  We appreciate the support given us by many across the nation!

For more information, go to Legislative/State Advocacy subpage.   To keep up with progress of the mediation,  go to the Members only Forum by logging in to the website.

A letter to all licensees in Alabama from the Executive Council.
